Stress Free Memory Boosters

Juggling several tasks while chasing deadlines can backfire. One can miss very important details. Sheila Viesca, TalkShop CEO explains, “Memory is established based on what one senses. Hence, when one is too busy to practice mindfulness in his tasks, he is likely to miss details.”She offers these simple tips to enhance one’s memory:

1. Stay healthy. Nurture your brain with a healthy diet. Nuts, fish rich in omega fatty acids, olive oil, and lean protein are best. Get enough sleep and exercise.

2. Re-train your attention by changing your routine. Reorganize your desk, closet, and dresser. Take different routes to work.

3. Do mind exercises like simple math, puzzles, memory games.

4. Interact with others. Relationships enhance emotions and brain health.

5. Focus at what you are doing. Stay in the moment.Don’t get distracted.

“The true art of memory is the art of attention.”-Samuel Johnson
